Fifteen Still lifes of fish from the Venetian lagoon printed on cotton canvas, submerged in various points of the lagoon and left under water for a period of 4/5 months to macerate, filled with algae, mud, shellfish. Depending on the exposure to light, current, depth and the point of immersion when they are "fished out" they can also tell us about the state of the lagoon, the degree of pollution.
After "(R)existing in Venice" and "Venice 2050 DC and came the acqua grandissima" in which I wanted to tell about the problems of the city such as over tourism and the 'rise of the tide, with "Flooded Souls", I begin to investigate the lagoon. A piece of the photo after staying under water was analyzed and photographed with a microscope thanks to a collaboration with Ca Foscari and the CNR (Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosyscems) to know the state of pollucion of the lagoon and the result of this used as a caption of the print.
